Research Center for Theology and Family

Islamic Propagation Office of Qom Seminary in Isfahan Branch started its research activities in 2003 in the form of research deputyship. With the development of research activities and the accumulation of nearly a decade of organizational knowledge and experience in this path, and with the shift in the approach of the Islamic Propagation Office from function-centric to problem-centric, this department transformed into the Research Center for Theology and Family. It became one of the research Centers of the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy (ISCA).

 

Mission

Research and studies in the field of issues related to society, focusing on family matters, and providing solutions utilizing the capacities of the Qom Seminary.

 

Objectives

  1. Scientific identification of related issues and determination of research priorities through needs assessment.
  2. Identification of issues and methods for addressing related problems from the perspective of science and religion.
  3. Design and presentation of appropriate scientific models addressing family-related issues.
  4. Addressing doubts, scientific questions, and practical challenges related to relevant issues.
  5. Critique of schools of thought and intellectual movements opposed to the concept of family.
  6. Increasing interdisciplinary interactions and studies, and strengthening integrated perspectives on related issues.
