The Journal of Islamic Governance Studies, drawing on the intellectual and academic capacity of Islamic seminary and university elites as well as research centers, has been digitally published by the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy. Its mission is to generate knowledge, disseminate research findings, and publish the works of scholars in the field of Islamic governance, addressing contemporary issues and needs, and sharing the latest studies in the field of modern governance.

Islamic governance is not merely an abstract theory; it is a practical strategy for responding to the complex challenges of the modern world—particularly those facing the Islamic world and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In a context where existing governance systems are facing inefficiency, a return to Islamic governance—based on principles such as rationality, spirituality, justice, responsibility, and ethics, which lie at the heart of Islamic teachings— can serve as a guiding light for reforming governance structures, objectives, orientations, and actions. However, achieving this goal requires in-depth, innovative, and problem-centered research—and even more importantly, a consistent problem-oriented approach throughout the governance cycle.
