Research Center for Ahlulbayt History and Conduct

Research Center for Ahlulbayt History and Conduct (RCAHC) was established in 1985 for the systematic examination of the fields related to Ahlulbayt history and conduct and the influential context in them, and started its research activities. In addition to carrying out case studies, macro-projects including the dictionary of Muslim compilers, the lifestyle of the Fourteen Infallibles, an examination of historical resources, Shia in the age of Imams’ presence, and Shia in different regions have been some of the activities conducted in this research center. Furthermore, compilation of Ahlulbayt encyclopedia is one of the macro-projects of this research center, the groundwork of which has been laid in recent years.

Mission
Scientific and strategic explanation of the Fourteen Infallibles’ history and conduct, providing a logical strategy to achieve historical facts, debunking superstitions and identifying the historical identity of Shia and different angles of Islamic culture and civilization.

Objectives
1. Explaining and revising the foundations and theoretical frameworks of Islamic history and the Fourteen Infallibles’ conduct in order to empower and develop them to meet various individual and social needs.
2. Scientific introduction of personality and behavioral models of the Fourteen Infallibles in various aspects of personal and social life according to the levels of the audience.
3. Shia identity studies and the examination of the course of transformation and development of its components from the beginning until now.
4. A methodical answer to the questions and doubts of man and contemporary society in the field of Shia history, the Fourteen Infallibles’ conduct, and Islamic culture and civilization.
